Established since 1995 we have 22 staff working throughout the week. Our caring, friendly staff teach children to swim from the age of 3 upwards and we have great success rates.
The Helen Diamond swim school prides itself on being a happy and safe environment to learn in and we use two venues to accommodate these lessons: Calday Grange swimming pool and Birkenhead High School which are both 25m pools.
We teach a range of children from beginners right up to advanced lane swimming which is a natural progression, or a great alternative, to swimming club.
We will be running 2 Intensive courses over Easter....
The first will run from Monday 2nd April until Thursday 5th April at either 9.30am, 10am or 10.30am.
The second will run from Tuesday 10th April until Friday 13th April at either 4pm or 4.30pm.
Each course is at Calday pool and is £27.50 including badge and certificate.These courses are an ideal way to introduce children to swimming lesssons or to inprove stamina and stroke technique for swimmers already having lessons. We will be running lessons for Beginners, Improvers, Stroke Improvers and Advanced. The children will come every day for the duration of the course at the time booked.

We will be running an Intensive course during half term. Monday February 13th - Thursday 16th February at Calday Grange Swimming Pool.
An ideal way to introduce children to swimming lessons or to boost confidence, stamina and strokes for children already on lessons. The children come swimming every morning from Monday to Thursday. We have the following times - 9.30am, 10am or 10.30am and we have are running lessons for Beginners, Improvers, Stroke Improvers and Advanced. The cost of the course is £27.00 including badge and certificate.

The weekend closures for half term have been changed. The weekend lessons have altered so that we are now off on the 22nd and 23rd October for half term.
The weekday lessons are unaffected and the lessons will not be taking place from Saturday 22nd September until Friday 28th September.
The weekend lessons will recommence on Saturday 29th September.
Our Autumn Term will be starting on Monday the 5th September!
The course is 14 weeks long, with 1 week off for half term, taking us up to Christmas!!!
